On 25 February 2025, the SEAFAIRER consortium held its online meeting to assess the progress made in the first six months of the project. This meeting offered an opportunity to review achievements, address challenges, and plan for the next steps.

The objective of SEAFAIRER is to demonstrate the production of improved intermediate biofuels, targeting the decarbonisation of maritime shipping, using an innovative thermochemical conversion process.
